It’s all about student achievement! We have started another Charger year and we are off and running. Teachers have looked at last year’s test data and have begun mapping this year’s strategies to increase student achievement. We all agree we have a huge challenge facing us, but we are prepared for the test. We are committed to nurturing and challenging our students to reach their goal of success ultimately to reach their goal of success ultimately to walk across the stage at their graduation with a certified diploma.
One way we will reach our goal is to respect the diversity of our student body and focus on holding all students to high expectations. We are making a great effort to improve the personalization for our students by having grade level administrators and guidance counselors for students’ academic and personal support. As the Charger family (administrators, teachers, parents, guardians, staff and community) work together to provide our students with a quality education that prepares them for a successful and productive future, we will ensure our students’ success. Teachers from each magnet house are committed to working together to expose our students to the latest technology, relevant and rigorous interdisciplinary academic experiences.
We believe every student can succeed when held to high expectations, the students take personal responsibility for their education and respect is shown and given. We are committed to seeking ways to improve the work done at Hallandale High School in order to provide the necessary experience for success for all of our students. It really does “Take A Village to Raise a Child.” Please join us in our mission by attending the monthly School Advisory Council meetings each fourth Tuesday of the Month.
It really does take a village to raise a child.
